Story
About the work
A tall coil-built vase in glossy black, its spiralling coils left visible, flares at the top into a red, calla-shaped bloom. The twist of the coils gives the body a slight spiralling motion, like a stem rising toward the light. The deep, mottled red of the bloom answers the lacquer-black base.
