Story

About the work

A white tiger steps down toward us out of an ink-black night, beneath a softly haloed full moon. Its fur is built from fine ivory and cool-grey strokes in acrylic and oil. A flame of torn gold leaf rises at left and a brushed gold wave rolls in at lower right: the warmth of the metal answers the animal’s calm.

“If you want the moon, do not hide from the night.”
