Story
About the work
Red, black, yellow and white horizontal bands run across the panel from edge to edge, broken by a diagonal zigzag where every stripe shifts like a folded ribbon. A soft grey gradient along the folds creates an illusion of relief, in the spirit of op art: it is all contrast and rhythm.
