Story
About the work
A burst of water explodes across a black ground in swirls of turquoise, cobalt and pearly white, with droplets flung out to the edges of the sheet. Pastel and coloured pencil are built up in dense layers on black paper, and white highlights give the water an almost luminous sheen. A single liquid instant caught in mid-motion.
