Story

About the work

A three-quarter face with smoky eyes glancing sideways emerges from spiky black hair whose tapering locks spill across the page. Graphite and charcoal are softly blended on the skin, while the locks are pulled in quick strokes. A sketchbook study, signed in pencil at lower left.
