Story
About the work
A black stallion surges out of a smoky silver-grey ground, head lowered, its mane whipping across the canvas in long inky strands. Restrained cool highlights on the eye, nostrils and chest give the dark form weight and motion in an almost monochrome palette. It is presented in an ornate silver frame.
