Story
About the work
On a horizontal panel, a sepia skeleton at left and a young blonde woman in profile at right are joined by a black-and-white mandala painted over burnished gold leaf; her windswept hair streams into its pattern. Bone, skin and metal meet in a meditation on the cycle of life and death.
