Story
About the work
A red fox in profile, its fur built up in fine layered strokes, emerges from an arc of copper leaf and marbled white and grey passages beneath a burnished copper moon. The contrast between the realist animal and its fluid, metallic surround gives the piece a quiet nocturnal glow.
